PICO PAPAGAIO TOUR

Pico Papagaio is the most emblematic peak on Príncipe island. Visible from the city of Santo António, with a height of approximately 680m. It consists of a rock formation of volcanic origin and surrounded by forest. It is located within the limits of the Natural Park. Along the path that takes us to the top of the peak, you can observe endemic birds, orchids and various medicinal plants. The visits we have to the island are spectacular.

OBÔ INFANTE TOUR

Roça Infante D. Henrique is an old company abandoned by settlers shortly before independence, today completely covered in vegetation. Along the way we passed through the fields of Nova Estrela, Terreiro Velho and Ribeira Fria. From the Barracão site, the road is limited to the Obô Natural Park. Along the way you can see virgin tropical forests, endemic species, monkeys, birds, orchids and various medicinal plants, as well as rock formations typical of volcanic islands.

RIO TOUR

The Rio Tour is aimed at those who want to know a little about the island of Príncipe through the river route. On the island of Príncipe there are more than a dozen rivers and streams. Among these, the Papagaio River and the São Tomé River stand out. This tour is about the Papagaio River! You will travel along its watercourse, observing the daily lives of the people who live and depend on the river. You will also have the opportunity to photograph rare and native species that depend on that environment.

CASCATA O'QUÊ PIPI TOUR

O'Quê Pipi is one of the most beautiful waterfalls on the island. It has a natural pool that allows for cool and relaxing baths, including scrubs from the island's shrimp. Here you will also enter the protected area and be able to see several endemic species. It is an easy walk, with some climbs of moderate difficulty, but of short duration.

RIBEIRA IZÉ TOUR

Ribeira Izé is believed to have been one of the first cities on the island of Príncipe. It was abandoned after some time because it was very easy for pirates to invade its beaches in colonial times. In this way, practically nothing was left, besides a ruined church and the remains of a farmhouse belonging to Maria Correia, daughter of a Brazilian immigrant and a mulatto woman who is remembered for the dynamic way she led her slaves. Known as the Black Princess, whose first husband is believed to have been responsible for introducing the cocoa plant into the country. On this tour you will visit the ancient city of Ribeira Izé, the beach and the cave of the same name.
